How much does a roof survey cost?
Surveys and quotes are free for existing homeowners. A pre-purchase survey for a property you are buying is £150, and that £150 comes off your quote if you go ahead with the work after purchase.
What guarantee comes with the work?
New pitched roof installations carry a 25-year guarantee and flat roof installations carry a 15-year guarantee. Flat roofing systems also come with a manufacturer-backed guarantee, which is passed on to you.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold £1,000,000 public liability cover, and details are provided with every quote.
Do you charge for emergency call-outs?
There is a £150 call-out fee for emergency attendance. The cost of the repair itself depends on the work required, and you will be told the price before we proceed.
How is payment structured?
Payments are staged and set out in writing before work begins. On a new pitched roof, for example, a 30% deposit is due once the scaffolding is up, with the balance staged through the job.
Can you remove spray foam insulation?
Yes. We remove spray foam and reinstate the roof so it can be surveyed and mortgaged again. No certificate is issued for the removal itself, but every removal we have carried out has been signed off by building control and surveyors without issue.
